This site collects nothing about you by itself: no analytics, no tracking, no cookies and no accounts. The few things that do involve your data are explained here.

Cookies and tracking
The site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers, so there is no cookie banner. Switching language changes the address, nothing is remembered about you.
Fonts and images are served from this site, not from third parties.
Contact form and email
The contact form opens your own email program with the message filled in. The site does not send or store anything itself. What you then email us goes to our mailbox and is used only to answer you and to arrange what you asked about.
The chat
The chat on this site is an AI assistant. What you write is sent to our server and passed on to Anthropic, whose Claude model generates the reply from the content of this website. We do not store the messages; the conversation exists only in your browser tab and disappears when you close it. Anthropic processes the messages under its commercial terms.
To limit misuse, our server keeps a temporary count of chat requests per IP address for one hour. It is held in memory only and is not written anywhere.
Please do not put personal details such as your address or payment information into the chat. For anything like that, email or call us.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web server, it may record technical access logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, for security and operation. We do not use these to identify visitors.
Airbnb and other services
Cabin bookings are made on Airbnb under Airbnb's own privacy policy. This site only reads the public availability calendar of each listing; no personal data is exchanged.
Links to Airbnb, Instagram and other external sites lead to services with their own privacy policies.
Your rights
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation you may ask what data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and object to its use. In practice this concerns email correspondence only. Write to the address below.
If you believe we have handled your data incorrectly, you may complain to the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).
