Saivo sits on the shore of Saivojärvi. Across the lake rise Saivokero and the fell chain of Pallas‑Ylläs. The national park, and the nearest ski trail, begin 500 m from the door.
Built in the early 2000s; the bathroom and kitchen were renovated in autumn 2025. Downstairs there is a small bedroom with a 120 cm bed. On the loft there are a 160 cm and an 80 cm bed. The wood-fired sauna, a kitchen with a dishwasher, wifi, a smart TV and a drying cabinet for outdoor clothes. Four pairs of snowshoes and sleds for children in winter, a rowing boat in summer. Pets are welcome.

Please note
- The stairs to the loft are steep and there is no gate. Keep this in mind with small children.
- Bathroom and kitchen renovated in autumn 2025.
- Final cleaning is done by the guest before leaving; if you prefer, we do it for a cleaning fee of 100 €.
- Public transport is sparse; a car is recommended.
Cabin guests visit the reindeer farm at a discount
Our reindeer farm is a few minutes away. The visit is two hours, always your own group only, and as a cabin guest you pay less than the listed price.
